How it runs

Arrival — check in at reception, then a welcome tea at the jungle spa
Warm vapour bath — 15–30 minutes
Herbal tea — a quiet pause
Aromatherapy massage — 60 minutes with the organic oil you choose
Rest — herbal tea and water, and time to rest before you leave
The rebalance spa ritual takes 90 minutes and moves at an easy pace. It opens with a warm vapour bath of 15–30 minutes, followed by herbal tea, and ends with a 60 minute aromatherapy massage. You choose one of our three organic oils, and your therapist asks about pressure, allergies and any health conditions before starting. It all happens in the jungle spa at The Namkhan, by the Khan River and about 15 minutes from Luang Prabang town. Come a little early if you like: there is a shower and the rock pool to enjoy before your treatment, and the sauna can be heated for you if you book it 45 minutes ahead. Afterwards there is herbal tea and water, with time to rest before you leave.
