The kids cooking class in Luang Prabang runs from 11:00 for two hours and is for ages 6-12. Children cook on the resort's organic farm and eat what they cook. With one child, our kids host takes over instead of the class. While the children cook, parents have the infinity pool and the chess garden. At 13:30 the parents sit down to a farm-to-table lunch of two courses and dessert. From 14:30 the family has the river beach, the outdoor sports area and playground, and the gardens and grounds until 17:00. It puts family activities into one day: a cooking class for the children, the pool and lunch for parents, then the river beach and playground together. The Namkhan sits by the Khan River, about 15 minutes from Luang Prabang town by tuk-tuk or taxi, and a free shuttle runs from the city centre — message us on WhatsApp for times and pick-up points.
