Collect your child when you are ready
Book a private nanny in Luang Prabang while you spend the day at The Namkhan. Each nanny looks after one child under 5 and stays with that child alone; children are never grouped together.
It gives you time for a spa treatment, a swim in the infinity pool or a slow lunch at Roots, knowing your little one has someone's full attention. Your nanny can take your child around the gardens, the games garden or the river beach, or simply stay close to you.

What to bring & wearYour reservation number and anything your child needs during the day, such as a change of clothes and favourite snacks.
Dress codePlease no bare feet or swimwear in the gardens and restaurant — bathrobes are provided.
Age, fitness & accessFor children under 5. One nanny is booked per child. Please tell us about allergies or health needs when booking.
Not includedTransport to and from the resort. A free shuttle runs from Luang Prabang city centre (message us on WhatsApp for times and pick-up points), or add a private pickup when you book (Luang Prabang and nearby, up to 20 km).
PaymentOnce we confirm your time, our reservations team sends a BCEL payment link for the full amount. Pay it within 12 hours, at the latest 2 hours before your visit, or the place is released.
CancellationFree until 4 hours before.
ConfirmationOur team confirms within 2 hours during opening hours, by WhatsApp and email.

How do I book?
Send a booking request. Reception confirms by WhatsApp, usually within 2 hours during the day.
Do I pay online?
No. Nothing is paid online. You pay at the resort, or by a BCEL payment link sent with your confirmation.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 4 hours before.
I have two small children. Do I need two nannies?
Yes. Each nanny looks after one child, so please book one nanny per child under 5.
Will my child be in a group?
No. The nanny is exclusive to your child and never looks after a group.
How do I get to The Namkhan?
The resort is about 15 minutes from Luang Prabang town by tuk-tuk or taxi. There is also a free shuttle between the city centre and the resort; message us on WhatsApp for times and pick-up points.
