Not included: Transport to and from the resort. A free shuttle runs from Luang Prabang city centre (message us on WhatsApp for times and pick-up points), or add a private pickup when you book (Luang Prabang and nearby, up to 20 km).

The afternoon starts at the outdoor gym, with the infinity pool and the games garden close by for a swim or a slow game in between sets. Take it at your own pace — there is no fixed programme until dinner. In the evening, Roots serves the Lao tasting menu on its terrace above the Khan River. The restaurant is farm to table, cooking with produce from the resort's own organic farm. For anyone after a gym and pool in Luang Prabang, with dinner outside town to follow, it is an easy way to end the day.

No. There is nothing to pay online: pay at the resort, or by the BCEL payment link sent with your confirmation.

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your day.

How do I get to The Namkhan?

The resort is by the Khan River, about 15 minutes from Luang Prabang town by tuk-tuk or taxi. There is also a free shuttle from the city centre: message us on WhatsApp for times and pick-up points.
