Farm-to-table cooking class on our own organic farm — walk the gardens, harvest vegetables and herbs, then cook what you picked.

Not included: Transport to and from the resort. A free shuttle runs from Luang Prabang city centre (message us on WhatsApp for times and pick-up points), or add a private pickup when you book (Luang Prabang and nearby, up to 20 km).

The cooking class starts at 11:00 and runs for 180 minutes: you walk the farm and gardens, pick vegetables and herbs, then cook a meal from what you harvested. From 14:00 the infinity pool, the river beach, the chess garden and the gardens are yours. At 16:00 the jungle spa welcomes you for the Rebalance Ritual, 90 minutes long, and at 17:30 you finish in the sauna and the rock pool. A cooking class and spa day in one, ending at 18:30. The Namkhan is by the Khan River, about 15 minutes from Luang Prabang town by tuk-tuk or taxi. A free shuttle runs between the city centre and the resort — message us on WhatsApp for times and pick-up points.

  • Your treatment comes after the active part of the day, so you can fully let go.
  • We leave time between activities and your treatment — to relax, shower and enjoy the pools.
  • Our cooking class starts in the farm: you pick the vegetables and herbs, then cook them with the chef.
  • In the cooking class you eat what you harvest and cook — it is your meal.
  • With a spa treatment, the sauna, the rock pool and the outdoor gym are yours to use too. The sauna is heated on request — please book it at least 45 minutes ahead.
  • Giant chess and board games in our games garden are yours all day.

How do I book?

Send a booking request. Reception confirms on WhatsApp, usually within 2 hours during the day.

Do I pay online?

No. There is nothing to pay online: pay at the resort, or by the BCEL payment link sent with your confirmation.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 4 hours before your day.

How do I get to The Namkhan?

Take a tuk-tuk or taxi — about 15 minutes from Luang Prabang town or from the airport. There is also a free shuttle from the city centre; message us on WhatsApp for times and pick-up points.

Where does the cooking class take place?

On the resort's own organic farm, where you harvest the vegetables and herbs you cook.
